This is a scarce example of a late WWII SVW 45 code Nazi Mauser P38 pistol. This P-38 pistol carries the "svw" code markings for the Mauser factory. The right side of the slide has the single "Eagle" firing proof with the double" Eagle WaA135 Waffenamt" proof and the left side of the slide is marked "P.38/svw/45 (stacked)/9223e". The left side of the frame and barrel lug each carry a single Eagle WaA135 Waffenamt for the Mauser factory. The pistol has the late war dual tone finish with the phosphate finish on the major metal parts except for the barrel which is blued. This pistol has two wartime magazines, one is marked with only P-38v on the side and a second blued one with a single WaA135 Waffenamt proof. It is complete with a earlier black hard-shell holster marked on the back "eue/43 and P38",

Condition: Excellent overall with 95% plus of the original wartime finish with wear and thinning overall with actual finish loss on the front grip strap and right side of the slide. The grips are in excellent condition with minor handling marks and the holster is in very fine condition with clear markings on the back with wear and scuffing on the flap and the side of the magazine pouch.
