Scarce Kolibri Miniature Pistol with Original Case
Designed by Friederich Pfannl of Austria, this pistol was intended as a novelty item, firing the very small 2.7mm Kolibri center-fire cartridge. Produced without sights, "FEU" and "SUR" safety markings and "22" on trigger and barrel. Crown/N proofs are marked on the barrel and slide. Checkered grips with "FP" in an oval at the top, with the right panel having the additional "KOLIBRI" in a banner on the bottom. Complete with the factory case with a royal purple lining and bottom portions of the ammo box.
BBL: 1 3/8 inch solid rib
Stock:
Gauge: 2.7 mm
Finish: blue
Grips: hard rubber
Serial Number: 22
Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains nearly 95% original blue finish with scattered patches of brown and the finish thinning to a smooth gray patina on the slide. The grips are excellent with a few light handling markings. The checkering is crisp. The case is good with some moderate loss of the outer paper covering, some edge separation, and a break in the hinge area. The lining shows some mild wear, with stained padded silk lining on the inside of lid.
