Two folding knives flank the fold up trigger. One blade is a 3 1/2 inch double sided and the other is a 2 1/8 inch single edge blade. One is marked "JAMES / RODGERS / SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso and the other minus the Sheffield. The octagon barrel is set atop the knife portion, with a worn post front sight, a pair of Birmingham proofs on the upper left flat, and a smooth hammer connected to a folding trigger. The underside of the frame between the blades is stamped "1023". The butt of the gun has a small storage compartment, and stored inside the horn panels on the sides are a pair of tweezers on the right and a small German silver bullet mold on the left.

Very good. The German silver has aged to a pleasant patina. The knife blades have a dark mottled patina with some minor pitting. The horn side panels are good with a few minor chips and scratches. The front rivet on each side has broken away from the frame and both panels are warped out. The action needs some work. The trigger doesn't drop down when the hammer is cocked and the hammer doesn't hold the cock position. All markings are clear.
