Lot of 3 different. 1) Rare pictorial check for HH Flagg, Banker, 1868. Issued to Mason & Huff for $1,912.25. Signed by Flagg. Rare green 5 cent NV adhesive revenue stamp with tied cancel. Lith. Britton & Co. Flagg was one of the first trustees of the Virginia City Water Company. He was also a Territorial Senator from Storey County. Flagg ran the Maynard & Flood Bank when Maynard retired to Massachusetts a rich man. 2) Bank of California, Gold Hill, 1876 check. Red print. Issued to Timothy Kelly. 5 cent adhesive IR stamp. Timothy Kelly is listed as mill hand for the Merrimac Mill in the Virginia & Truckee Railroad 1873 Directory. 3) Maynard & Flood, Imperial Silver Mining Company, check issued in 1863 (territorial).
