Good. The metal surfaces have a brown patina. The trigger guard and back strap have a pleasant dark aged patina with traces of original silver plating in protected areas. The grip is very good having shrunk a bit with age and showing an attractive grain and dark patina. The cylinder scenes have faded, but the panels are still visible and there is some minor pitting. The remaining markings and engraving are clear. The action is fine.
