Very fine as period refurbished. The barrels retain 95% period refurbished brown finish and show almost all of the original Damascus pattern. The break lever, trigger guard and lower receiver plate retain 95% original blue finish with some edge wear, flaking and thinning. The receiver and forearm knuckle have a smooth silver gray patina with traces of the muted original case colors in the protected areas of the fences. The mid bead sight has been re-soldered. The wood is fine with half of the period applied varnish remaining, showing a few minor dings and handling marks overall. The checkering remains crisp overall. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
