Scarce Early Post World War I Undated Simson & Co. Weimar Army Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol

This is an excellent example of a early post-WWI Weimar era military Luger pistol manufactured by the Simson and Co. in Suhl, Germany. This pistol has an undated chamber and the standard Simson & Co./Suhl marked front toggle along with the small "Eagle/6" acceptance proof. It has the regular military style serial number placement with the full serial number on the major components and the last two digits on the small parts as well as the Eagle/6 rework proof on many of the small parts. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with two small "Eagle/6" Simson proofs and a single "Eagle/33" proof, along with the single Simson & Co., Eagle firing proof. The left side of the barrel is stamped with a small double "Eagle 6" proof sometimes used to denote reworks, along with the final Simson Eagle firing proof. It has the standard safety and extractor markings and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Complete with one blue magazine with a "1/1996/Eagle Proof" marked aluminum base.

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus of the original blue finish showing some edge and high spot wear. The various small parts retain 70% of the straw color. The grips are excellent with only the slight handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings are clear. A very nice early post-WWI Weimar Luger.
