Scarce Colt Model 1862 Navy percussion revolver, London barrel address, iron trigger guard and back strap, .36 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, wood grips, #23277. This gun is in overall good condition showing a grey patina on metal surfaces over an old cleaning with some scattered areas of light erosion and pin prick pitting with an area of moderate pitting on the cylinder; traces of cylinder scene remaining, matching visible serial numbers including the wedge and arbor with an “L” under the number on the frame and trigger guard; dark bore, good action, overall good grips showing wear to the finish and some mars and nicks scattered over both sides. A difficult to find variation of the 1861 Navy. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
