The barrel rib is marked, "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L" with the left side of the barrel lug roll marked "455/476". It has the standard fixed nickel silver blade front sight with the fixed rear sight. The frame is fitted with checkered walnut grips and a casehardened lanyard loop on the butt. It comes with a oak storage/display case with poplar wood bottom, on the case with brass reinforcing screws on the lid and base. The top of the lid has a round unmarked brass escutcheon plate inlaid in the center. Fine overall with 70% plus of the original blue finish overall with blue loss on the edges and high spots, the sides of the cylinder and front and rear grip straps. The refinished grips are good overall with nice checkering showing some areas where the checkering was recut. The case is in fine condition overall with a nice original color with the hinges and front latches intact, however it is missing the lock on the front. The corners are intact however the lid shows two longer age cracks running longitudinal across the lid.
