Cover letter for payment (archaic spelling retained): Inclosed please find certified check for Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550) as pay for waggons as per inclosed bill, which you will please receipt & return, and it is signed Cross-Diver Co. Lovely lithographs of horse-drawn passenger vehicles at top of letterhead. Below them Southwestern advertises that it is Operating lines in the following states and territories - Arkansas, Texas, Indian Territory, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kentucky and Mississippi.
