Item/Description: Saxony Albert Order I Class Knights Cross medal with crown.
The Albert Order (German: Albrechts-Orden or Albrechtsorden) was created by King Frederick Augustus II of Saxony to commemorate Albert III, Duke of Saxony (known as Albert the Bold). It was to be awarded to anyone who had served the state well, for civil virtue, science and art. Design: Gold Christian cross with white enamel, bust of Albert the Bold at the center surrounded by "ALBERTUS ANIMOSUS". Gold crown attached above the badge.

Condition: Signs of age and wear include surface scratches, scuffing, and discoloration. Rear face of medal missing.
