This rifle was manufactured in 1914 in the desirable .22 HP caliber. Fixed beaded blade front sight, rear dovetail has a filler block and there is a Lyman flip up rear peep sight mounted to the top of the receiver. There is a cocking indicator at the top of the receiver, a cartridge counter on the left side of the receiver and a safety on the right side of the lever. The top of the barrel has the two line address and patent marking with the barrel steel and model marking on the left side. Mounted on a nicely figured smooth walnut forearm with Schnabel tip and straight grip stock with matching serial number stamped under the checkered hard rubber buttplate.

Condition: Excellent, 95% plus original blue finish with some spots of minor pitting on the receiver and some scattered minor scratches. The casehardened lever retains 90% bright case colors with a couple spots of moderate pitting. The bolt remains bright with a few small spots of discoloration. The rear sight has been replaced with a filler block and a rear tang sight added. The forearm is also excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. The buttstock is very good with a 1 1/2 inch long crack to the right of the upper tang, some discoloration around the upper tang and some scattered minor marks. The buttplate is an ill fitting replacement. Mechanically excellent.
