Thick manual entitled "Astrionics System Handbook, Saturn Launch Vehicles," prepared under the direction and supervision of Dr. Rudolf Decher of the Astrionics Systems Engineering Office, 8.5 x 11, dated August 15, 1966, offering detailed descriptions of the electronic systems, subsystems, and components of the Saturn V launch vehicle. The handbook's fifteen chapters cover navigation and guidance, attitude control, mode and sequence control, measuring and telemetry, radio command systems, tracking systems, power supply and distribution systems, emergency detection system, launch site support system, flight program, instrument unit, environmental control system, stabilized platform, and LVDA and LVDC. The handbook is filled with copious illustrations, diagrams, and schematics, many of which fold out to a larger size. In very good to fine condition, with curling to corners, a few stains to the cover sheet, and several edge tears to the last page.
