From the Tucson, Arizona Collection. Santo Domingo Charles F. Lovato (1937-1987) Signed & Numbered Silkscreen Print 71/80 and reads ''Without the other there is no life Without love life has no meaning'', numbered in the lower left corner and signed in lower right corner measures 11.5'' x 14 1/8'', triple matted and framed, Artist Bio: ''Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo) is known mostly for its fine heishi jewelry and excellent pottery, but not many painters are known from there. Charles Lovato is probably the finest and most recognized painter from that pueblo. It is unfortunate that he had such a short life, but fortunate that he left behind some wonderful paintings. Lovato's paintings were often inspired by poetry and at other times poetry was inspired by his paintings. His work took on a somewhat abstract depiction of representational figures.''

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.
