Made by husband-and-wife duo Angel Coriz and Ralph Bailon, the necklace features nine pottery storyteller figurines with pottery bead spacers on a pen shell heishi necklace with sterling cones. Coriz and Bailon started working together in the late 70s, and they make mostly storyteller figurines and pots. Coriz is from Jemez Pueblo originally, and Bailon is from Santo Domingo, and he's from a family of silversmiths. So she brought the pottery making, and he the jewelry making, and so this piece is truly a combined talent. Now in their pottery making, she shapes the pieces, he paints, and they both fire. They now live in Bailon's home pueblo.'', phenomenal detail in the necklace
