Outstanding Native American Santo Domingo Pueblo Ed Aguilar (1941-2006) Liquid Silver 3 Strand Necklace and Screw-back Earrings, beaded necklace is strung on chain and measures 16.5" end to end, each bead measures 3mm x 2.5mm, earrings measure 2"L, each cone on all pieces are signed, 3 strand signature ''Aguilar Chain'' necklace of gorgeous, hand pulled square beads, 59g in total wt. Artist Bio: Ed Aguilar's precision, attention to detail, and hard work creates one of the finest hand-made chains in the world. Ed was born and raised on the Santo Domingo Reservation in New Mexico. He studied Silversmithing when he was a teen at boarding school in Santa Fe. In the Santo Domingo tradition, he worked as fire fighter on summer vacations. In a strange twist of fate, a California woman, a salt-water diver, requested that Ed make her a necklace that she could wear in the water. Stringing his bead on cord would not work, so he investigated the possibility of using foxtail. Foxtail is square so he had to make the beads square. Thus was the beginning of the ''Aguilar chain'' style you see today. Ed passed away from diabetes in 2006.

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be reimbursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be re-listed for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, will be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.

*** Shipping: We combine shipping for multiple purchases where possible. All shipping is at the buyers expense, and will be determined after each auction, based on actual shipping charges to designated shipping address, supplied by the buyer. Buyer will pay actual shipping costs plus insurance & handling. We require all items to be insured. Return shipping of items to us must be pre-authorized and is at the buyers expense.
