Santa Clara Pottery Jar by Flora & Glenda Naranjo, measures 2'' x 3'' Glenda Naranjo, ''Cloth Stick Flower'', is a full blooded Native American Indian. She was born in 1953 into the Santa Clara-Tewa Pueblo. Glenda was inspired to continue the long lived tradition of hand coiling pottery from her late mother, Flora Naranjo. Flora taught Glenda all the fundamentals of working with clay and using ancient methods to construct her pottery. Glenda has been working with clay since the age of 10. The lucrative aspect of the business also played a key roll in her becoming a clay artist.
