From the Whittredge Estate, we have a Native American Santa Clara Carved Pottery Jar by Mida Tafoya (1931-present), signed by artist and measures 4.5'' x 7''D, nice and heavy, thick walled, comes with COA from Gilbert Ortega's, FYI: ''Mida Tafoya is the granddaughter of Santa Clara Pottery Matriarch, Serafina (Sara Fina). Mida was born in 1931 and has been a potter for over 60 years. As of this writing, 2013, I believe she is still producing. Her work is very traditional.'' ''Since the age of 13, Mida has been making pottery.''
