This 9 3/4" by 7 3/4" unmounted glossy photo by an unknown photographer advertises the upcoming Armistice Day Parade on November 11, 1928. The photo has some blackening in the upper left corner but otherwise, it is in pristine condition. There is glue residue on the back of the photo all around the edges. A post-it note attached to the back gives the address of the Ramona Building that appears in the photo as 118-120 West 5th St. Sadly, there is no street sign at the corner giving the name of the cross street, however, it might be Sycamore Street. A five and dime store is housed on the bottom floor of the building on the corner. The sign over the door at the far left of that building says YWCA. Occupants on the second floor of the building range from individual names on the windows to Real Estate firms to a couple of Lawyers and a Law Office. A car is parked close to the curb on W. 5th Street by the five and dime. There is another one story building housing a Real Estate Office sitting between the five and dime building and the Ramona. The Cross street has electric trolley tracks but for the most part, the corner seems to be deserted.
