circa 1900-1920. An uncommon early form for this pueblo, with cream slip and with the body decorated with black and red floral and geometric motifs and the necks and conjoining handle with alternating triangles; 9" high x 8" diameter. Deaccessioned from the Western Reserve Historical Society of Cleveland, Ohio. Minor surficial soiling, several tiny potlids, else fine. Old museum accession number "55.40" on base.

<p>Buyer’s Premium. Successful bidders shall pay the hammer price of each lot, plus a 15%, added on buyer’s premium.

<p>Condition of Items in the Sale. Cowan’s Historic Americana Auctions does not warrant the condition of any lot sold. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, and neither Cowan’s nor the consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to the property or it’s value, and in no event shall they be responsible for correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, authenticity, authorship, completeness, condition of the property or estimate of it’s value. No statement (oral or written) in the catalog, at the auction, or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty or representation, or any assumption of responsibility.

<p>Estimates. Pre-sale estimates of the expected hammer price of each lot are provided for the convenience of prospective bidders. In most cases, they do not represent reserves. Bidders are encouraged to bid what they feel an item is worth.

<p>HOW DO I BID?
<p>Internet bidding through icollector and ebaylive auctions is offered as a service to our customers, and prospective bidders shall not hold the auctioneer or his staff responsible for any errors or failures in executing bids, nor shall they hold the auctioneer responsible for any failure due to the loss of the auction applet supplied to Cowan’s by ebayliveauctions.
