In part: “The 15 Cases of Books are arrived safe, and we will speedily finish the collating of them with the catalogue. We will certainly abide by what we said respecting the carriage, but, cannot agree to pay for any part of the boxes, more particularly we are disappointed in the condition of the Books;—they are very indifferent.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, and paper loss to integral second page.
