Samuel Raven, 'Patronized by HRH The Duke of Sussex and Prince Leopold of Sax(sic)-Coburg', an early 19th century papier maché snuff box, the couple out hunting hares with horses and greyhounds, signed and inscribed inside, 9.5cm diameter (2). Prince Leopold was popular in this country following his marriage to Charlotte, daughter of George IV. She died in childbirth in 1817. This might mean this box was painted about 1816 £800-1,000
