Single bead sight on a solid rib marked "SAMUEL NOCK REGENT CIRCUS, PICCADILLY, LONDON GUN MAKER TO HIS MAJESTY". An engraved game bird is featured between the percussion bolsters and on the buttplate tang and two game birds are engraved on the upper tang and trigger guard. Engraved game birds are also featured on the lock plates which are marked "SAMUEL NOCK INVENIT". The fish hammers have a scroll engraving on the sides. A unique grip safety marked "Samuel Nock Inventor" is mounted on the lower tang. Straight grip stock with a checkered wrist, flat iron buttplate, and silver initial shield. With a brass tipped wooden ramrod. Complete with a wooden partitioned takedown case lined in green velvet. The inside of the lid has a paper Samuel Nock label. Included are the following accessories: oiler, leather powder flask, Remington-UMC cap tin, wire bore brush, and bore mop.

Condition: Very good. The barrels retain traces of the damascus pattern with a smooth brown-gray patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a mottled gray patina with traces of original blue finish remaining on the trigger guard. The stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches and a few long scratches and pressure dents, with a long gouge on the wrist and a minor chip missing from the forearm. The checkering shows some wear. The case is very good with some minor handling marks, a couple minor cracks, a couple minor chips, and loose partitions. The lining shows some wear.
