Ink signature, “Mark Twain,” on an off-white 4.25 x 2.75 slip, affixed to a 6.5 x 8 album page still housed in its original softcover autograph album. Album contains approximately another 150 signatures on individual affixed cards and slips, as well as a few letters. Other signers include: Maude Adams, Gertrude Atherton, Ethel Barrymore, Mrs. Patrick Campbell, Howard Chandler Christy, John Drew, William Farnum, C. D. Gibson, William Gillette, Anthony Hope Hawkins, Anna Held, W. D. Howells, A. E. W. Mason, Gouverneur Morris, Lillian Russell, Madame Schumann-Heink, and Booth Tarkington. In very good condition, with partial separation to central vertical fold, fold passing through a single letter of signature and a few ripples from adhesive. Album itself shows substantial wear and missing front cover.
