The Spanish artist Salvador Dali is one of the most important surrealist artists, who produced an extensive and diverse graphic Œuvre, including illustrations of various literary classics. Present here, in the form of an aquatint etching titled ‘Les fruits de la vallée’, is an illustration from the episode ‘Le Cantique des cantiques’. This is print is numbered 69 from a total edition of 250 copies.



The etching is signed with pencil ‘Dali’ and numbered ‘69/250’. The sheet is lightly toned, otherwise overall of good condition. The dimensions of the representation are 40.3 x 25.2 cm, the sheet size is 56.5 x 38 cm. The framed dimensions are 68 x 50 cm. The frame with minimal signs of use.
