Italian priest (1815–1888), who, in recognition of his work on behalf of disadvantaged youth, was canonized in 1934. Rare ALS in Latin, signed at the top, “Sacerdos Bosco,” one page, 7 x 9, 1861. Untranslated letter. Suede matted and framed with a beautiful color portrait of Bosco, to an overall size of 24.5 x 18.5. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and a bit of light toning. Oversized. RRAuction COA.
