The consignor of this note purchased a vase at a garage sale several years ago. The vase remained untouched for several more years, until the consignor recently decided to take it apart and clean it. You can guess the rest of the story, of course within the parts of the vase was tucked this gem of a rarity. Our consignor's good fortune is also good fortune for serious collectors of Colorado Nationals, as there hasn't been even a rumor of the existence of another large size note from either of this bank's two titles until now. It isn't pretty, as it is heavily worn, soiled, and has a few edge splits at the top, but it is fully intact with no pieces missing and, of course, it is the only one available. Good-Very Good and very difficult to estimate, but if rarity and the demand likely from the many collectors from this state are any guide, our "guesstimate" here might prove to be conservative in the extreme.
