<B>Saddam Hussein: A Group Lot of 61 Coalition Propaganda Leaflets in the Style of Saddam's Bank Notes.</B></I> These "bills" were dropped from United States Air Force planes during the Persian Gulf War. On the back, they read, "The meal that Saddam gives you?" and nothing else. They then list the wonderful menu provided by Coalition troops, concluding that "POWs are also eating with Allied Forces." They were intended to induce ill-fed Iraqi troops to surrender, and these notes came to be used as safe-conduct passes, held out by surrendering Iraqis to show their intent to surrender. Each measures 6.25" x 2.75", and is in crisp condition. Great dealer lot for break-up.
