An illustrated billhead "Carriages, Wagons, Sulkies, etc. Brick building, corner Sixth and L Streets. Carriage Painting, Trimming, etc. Work Done to Order and Warranted to give Entire Satisfaction. Eight Gold Medals, Eight Silver Medals and one hundred and eighteen first-class Premiums for the best Work, form various Fairs held in the State and Nevada. Also Nevada's Grand Gold Medals for 1876, 1877 and 1878." This billhead is signed as paid by Mr. Theodore Winters to H.M. Bernard. Theodore Winters was well known business man who donated land to Vacaville and Clear Lake Railroad to begin a town - the town was later given the name Winters. He grew an interest in horse racing and constructed race tracks on both sides of Putah Creek, California. He also ran for governor if Nevada in 1890 as a Democrat but was beaten. He later ran into financial problems and passed away in his home. Billhead is in good condition stains throughout with folds through the middle.
