REVOLVER. Cal. 7.5mm Swiss. (7.5x23mmR). S# 3810. Bbl. 4 1/2" octagonal. Model 1882 double action revolver mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern. Exterior exhibits various Swiss arsenal proofs overall. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger, hammer, ejector rod, and cyl. base pin, which are strawed. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Swiss Geneva cross checkered brown hard rubber grips and features a lanyard swivel and ring on the slotted butt. Dovetailed blade front sight with integral U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, sideplate, trigger, hammer, loading gate, cyl., cyl. base pin, as well as the ejector rod. Grips are matching via a hand inscribed "810" on the interior of the panels. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their Swiss arsenal blue finish, showing some light to mild wear and thinning primarily on edges, with light surface oxidation present overall. Strawed parts are fading to gray in contact areas, with spots of age related discoloration overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some scattered patches of dark mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show light smoothing and some superficial handling marks, but are otherwise sound. (25-4925/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
