Smith & Wesson Target Model Hand Ejector Model of 1905 First Change Double Action Revolver, #27659, .32-20 WCF cal., 5'' pinned barrel, high polish dark blue finish, smooth pearl grips, pinned blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, with case hardened checkered hammer and smooth trigger. Right sideplate is stamped with S&W logo. Top of barrel with three-line ''JUL. 7, 03'' last patent date address; left side reads ''32 WINCHESTER CTG''. Barrel, frame, cylinder, and ejector star with matching numbers. Mfg'd approx. 1906-1907. Condition is good with approx. 65%-70% factory blue; grip strap has worn to a silvery gray with a few darker spots, most of the other areas of finish loss have toned to a reddish brown patina. Right side of barrel with some very fine surface peppering. Factory lettering is clear. Grips with a few hairline fissures and otherwise look nice for their age; their overall condition and mild natural aging appearance goes well with the revolver. Approx. 80%-90% mostly bright case colors remain; right side with some muting. Action is very good with a smooth hammer and trigger; bore rates fine for its age. Est.: $500-$800. (C&R/PPT)
