Smith & Wesson .44 Hand Ejector Second Model Double Action Revolver, #25005, .44 S&W Spec. cal., 6.5'' pinned barrel, nickel finish, factory diamond checkered walnut grips with large silver S&W medallions (serial numbered to match the gun), lanyard loop in butt, with fixed blade front sight and standard integral notched rear sight. Case hardened hammer and smooth trigger. Shipped from the factory on Dec. 7, 1925, to Hibbard, Spencer Bartlett & Co., Chicago, IL, with factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G. Jinks. Condition is very good overall showing approx. 94% original nickel with some wear spots, minor pitting and scratches to the nickel finish. Cylinder with a light index line. Barrel address, etc. are crisp and clear. Grips remain sharp with clean checkering and only minor scratches to the bottom edge. Hammer and trigger retain their bright case colors.
