Born and raised in Michigan, award-winning artist Susan Guy saw Wyoming
for the first time in 1991, when she traveled to Yellowstone on vacation with her
husband. She fell in love with the light and color of the West and since then has
made it the subject of her watercolor and oil paintings. She now resides in Buffalo,
Wyoming, and is a signature member of The Society of Animal Artists. Guy's work
has been included in numerous exhibitions including Arts for the Parks Top
100 in Jackson, WY; The C.M. Russell Art Auction and Sale in Great Falls, MT;
and The Coors Western Art Show in Denver, CO. Her work is also included in the
permanent collections of the Phippen Museum in Prescott, AZ, and The Pearce
Western Art Collection at Navarro College in Corsicana, TX. She recently illustrated
two children's alphabet books: "C is for Cowboy" and "B is for Buckaroo". Susan
Guy's work in represented by Spirits in the Wind Gallery, Golden, CO, Mountain
Trails Gallery, Cody, WY and Foothills Gallery, Sheridan, WY.
