Please note that all bids placed through 3rd party platforms and not propstoreauction.com, will be subject to a buyer's expense of 5%.
Three Daily Planet newspapers from Richard Lester's superhero sequels Superman II and Superman III. Papers with the "White House Surrenders" headline were printed after General Zod (Terence Stamp) and his Kryptonian cronies took the White House by force in Superman II. The two newspapers from Superman III were seen in newsstands and in the background.

Printed on newspaper stock, the three newspapers feature a Daily Planet masthead, and each headline is printed in bold letters. Images of the US President (E.G. Marshall) and Zod adorn the front of the "White House Surrenders" paper. The cover sits over a copy of The Windsor Express, a British newspaper local to Pinewood Studios, where Superman II was filmed. All three papers feature minor edge wear, creasing and a horizontal fold line from storage, and have become discoloured over time. Dimensions (largest newspaper): 60 cm x 44 cm x 0.3 cm (23 1/2" x 17 1/4" x 1/4")

Estimate: 1,000 - 1,500 M
