CONDITION KRIEGHOFF K-32 CROWN GRADE 4 BBL. SKEET SET WITH ORIGINAL CASE. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4"; 20 Ga., 28 Ga., .410, 3". S# 5987. The 4 28" monobloc bbl. sets are fitted with slighted raised matted ventilated ribs mounted with steel mid and white front beads. Bbls. are marked with Krieghoff name and address, model and gauge, along with steel type on top lefts of bbls. and with importer's information (Europea Corp.) on right. Bottoms of monoblocs are stamped with 1970 Ulm Nitro proofs and with gun serial number followed by "1", "2", & "3" for the smaller gauges (12 ga. S# only). Chamber length (3") is stamped on each of the small gauge extractors (12 ga. set marked 2 3/4"). Blued Model 32 low profile O/U action is fitted with automatic safety and gold plated single selective trigger. Action is engraved with near full coverage exceptionally well detailed game scenes with major subjects relief inlaid in gold. Scenes are within gold line borders. Left side of action depicts a fox at edge of woodland pool causing a trio of ducks to take flight. Right side depicts a pointing setter at edge of meadow as three pheasant take wing. Bottom of action is engraved with full coverage exceptionally well cut large shaded scroll with central panel having "Krieghoff" "Model 32" in gold under a gold sovereign's crown. A similar crown appears on top lever. Trigger guard has matching scroll on bow. Engraver's signature "HG" is on left side of action under fox. Capped pistol grip buttstock of fine crotch figured American walnut measures 14 5/8" over black whiteline pad. Rosewood gripcap with whiteline spacer has bottom with inset diamond with stockmaker's information (Dockwiller) and has individual relief gold letters "R" "L" inlaid. Sidepanels are checkered and grip checkering is of semi fancy pattern. Matching full beavertail type target forend has Deeley type release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS (ALL): Choked Skeet and Skeet. STOCK: DAH: 2 1/16". DAC: 1 7/16". LOP: 14 5/8". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 8 lb. 8 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun and all bbl. sets are housed in their original tan leather covered case. Top of case has "NSSA" decal and front has fancy relief gold initials "RSL" laid on. Interior is lined in brown cordouroy and has compartment dividers secured by leather straps with snaps. CONDITION: exceptionally fine with evidence of limited use and no abuse. All bbl. sets retain over 95% original blue, 12 ga. bbls. showing the most use with a few scattered marks. Action retains essentially all of its original blue with only the slightest hint of sharp edge wear and a bit of silvering at rear of trigger guard. Stocks retain nearly all of their original varnish finish with a few very minor marks. All bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically crisp. A well preserved and showy Krieghoff. (22-3745/MGM).
