Available to US bidders only. Flown high temperature Shuttle Orbiter insulator, approximately 37 x 19 x 6.5, flown on the Space Shuttle Endeavour during mission STS-89. Includes the original decommissioning tag, DD Form 1577, stating the part and serial numbers as “V070-190308-002” and “25167-005,” and that it was removed from service on September 28, 1998. Some red paint to surface, otherwise fine condition. This bulkhead-type insulator was part of the internal wing structure assemblies, and was most likely installed for the Orbiter’s first space flight in 1992 and removed in 1998, after 12 spaceflights.
