A Hoth Rebel Trooper A295 blaster rifle from Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Rebel troopers wielded A295 blaster rifles in the trenches during the Battle of Hoth, during which they defended Echo Base against Imperial AT-AT walkers and ground troops.

The Battle of Hoth was created using a combination of model-miniature work filmed at Elstree Studios in England, and location shooting in Finse, Norway. Many locals, including mountain-rescue skiers, were hired to portray the Rebel troops, and a donation was made to the Norweigian Red Cross by Lucasfilm in return for their participation.

This standard-issue rifle comprises a cast resin World War II German Sturmgewehr 44 body made of resin, with components added to produce a unique aesthetic for the production. These additional features are made of wood finished in black paint, and include a "T"-shaped stock, a ribbed grip pump and a modified barrel. A non-functioning scope adorns the top of the body and the weapon features a static trigger. An adjustable leather carrying strap is secured to the weapon via two metal D-rings. The rifle has had some minor sympathetic restoration undertaken in the years since production; the end of barrel has been replaced and the stock has been repaired but still maintains the original butt plate. The rifle displays signs of production use, including paint wear, scuff marks and visible adhesive remnants where the barrel joins the main body. The leather strap exhibits cracking and there is minor corrosion present on the D-rings. The barrel has become loose over time and the lot should be handled with care. Dimensions: 85 cm x 26 cm x 6 cm (33 1/2" x 10 1/4" x 2 1/4")

Estimate: 20,000 - 30,000 M
