A hand-coloured Darth Vader (David Prowse) costume design by Oscar-winning costume designer John Mollo. This design was created after the release of George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope.

The design is a printed copy that was hand-coloured by Mollo, and exactly matches an illustration seen in issue 23 of Starburst magazine published in August 1980. In his interview with Starburst, Mollo explained that "the first Darth Vader was wearing a motorcycle suit, and a sort of opera cloak, and a Nazi steel helmet, and a gas mask, and a medieval breastplate, all from different departments, all brought in together and put on, and it seemed to work". The sketch, coloured with pencil, features Vader in an imposing stance. It has two holes punched on the left edge, sticky tack marks on the front and back corners, and there is a small tear on the top-right corner. Dimensions: 29.5 cm x 21 cm (11 1/2" x 8 1/4")

Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000 M
