An excessively rare, fine association A.L.S. "<i>J. Stalin</i>", 1p. large 8vo., [Moscow?], Nov. 5, 1946, to his 21 year-old daughter Svetlana in the usual orange indelible pencil, in full: "<i>To my hostess Svetlana Your letter is received with thanks. Concerning the history faculty at the university, you are completely correct. I was told that friends are planning to improve that situation. I'm sending you tangerines, too. Kissing my hostess daughter, J. Stalin P.S. I am feeling fine</i>". Fine. Svetlana's relationship with her father ranged from adoration to outright fighting.
