SPRINGFIELD Trapdoor rifle, # 374400, 45/70, reblued finish, walnut stock. Rifle is in good to very good condition as refinished, showing some surface rust and mild erosion. Breech block shows US Model 1873, and gun has been assembled usingmis-matched parts. Stock is in very good condition and shows "SWP 1889" cartouche and "P" proofmark, bore is bright. Includes a correct Rock Island Arsenal sling which is in very good condition. Est. $200-$400.
