SPRINGFIELD 1870 US Navy Rolling Block rifle, .50-70 cal., 32.5” barrel, full walnut stock. Rifle is in very good condition, receiver has been refinished blue, barrel shows a nice plum patina. Correct anchor stamp on barrel, barrel proofedP.H.B.R., no inspector stamps on the receiver. Wood is in good condition overall, with “EAVES” stamped on both sides of the stock, otherwise normal marks and dings consistent with use. Est. $600-$1,200.
