<B>SOUTHERN IMPALA SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Aepyceros melampus melampus</B></I><BR>The impala is the world's greatest jumper, elegant and graceful, and able to leap over 30 feet in a single bound. The Southern Impala is smaller and duller in color than the East African species, but these animals are a sportsman's favorite and are quite plentiful. This example is a trophy ram that will easily qualify for the Safari Club International record books. Its horns are 23½ inches long on each side and the mount is in mint condition, measuring 22¼ inches from the wall to nose-tip, 42½ inches from the bottom of the brisket to the tip of the horns and 14¼ inches wide.
