Sopwith Camel, a British biplane fighter aircraft from World War I. Model has a 14" wingspan.

The Sopwith Camel was introduced in 1917 and is credited with shooting down more enemy aircraft than any other Allied fighter in the war.

The name "Camel" came from the hump-like metal cowling over the two machine guns in front of the cockpit.
