<B>SIXTH PLATE TINTYPE OF “CONFEDERATE INFANTRYMAN” CIRCA 1860S.</B></I> This infantryman, sitting in a studio with a blank background, appears to have a gilded flag insignia on his jacket. His buttons and hat buckle are also gilded. This photograph is pictured in <I>More Confederate Faces</B></I> by William A. Albaugh III (page 130, figure 332); a copy of the book is included in this lot.
