<p><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>SIOUX TOMAHAWK </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial; color:windowtext'>Circa 1890-1910 pewter cast head pipe tomahawk such as that attributed to the Sisseton Sioux in Peterson’s <i>American Indian Tomahawks</i>. The ¼" thick flat blade is inlaid with slate and pierced in a tulip design. The eye is oval with a rectangular outer perimeter. The 22" haft is crafted from hard wood stained flat board and studded with 91 brass tacks, one missing. Tobacco residue from period use present. Nice even patina to wood and metal; overall a very nice example.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
