Rare Tibeto-Chinese bronze statue depicting Lama (probably Tsongkhapa). He is depicted with his hands in the position known as dharmachakramudra which means turning the wheel of the law. More simply his hands are in the teaching position as he expounds some doctrine. Hollow cast, bottom open. Condition is very good, dimension : 6" high, 5-3/8" wide, Tibet 17-18th Century.
