SILHOUETTES, LETTER, AND BINDER. William, Sarah, Thomas, and Catherine Hutton as described in a letter written to Edouart by "...Miss Catherine Hutton to make full lengths of her family from busts taken in 1792". Additional information on the backing paper. Unframed, 10"h. 14"w. Also included is a red binder with brass lock. Reputedly one of the binders used to hold Edouart's copies of his cuttings. The majority of the binders and cuttings were lost when the ship Oneida sank in 1849. Silhouettes and letter have stains and some damage, binder has wear. 10 1/2" x 14 1/4". Pictured on page 2.
