Besides the fact this set has some of the richest detail that even goes all the way to the spouts and handles and it is heavy as can be and is in great condition with just a little polishing needed ( much brighter than some of the photos, it also has something you don't see much in the old teasets which is a waste pot. Check out the spouts, the ruffled metal work on each rim and the etchings on each. These are just so well made and if you know anything about quadruple plate, it is one of the best kind they made ( besides real silver) and they were made to last. This set is proof of that. These are marked Wilcox quadruple plate gilt and all pieces have the mark. The tray is 22" x 13" wide, the tea pot is 9 ½" wide and 8" high, the largest pot ( waste pot)( with lid) is 7 ½" wide x 5 ½" high, the sugar is 6 ½" wide and 4" high, the creamer is 5 1 /2" wide and 4" high. The tray has a few green spots that could be polished out. We have had this in a glass cabinet for as long as I can remember. We never used it, just made it a show piece. There are a few very tiny dings on one or two pieces, but other than that this set is ready to serve a whole party and get you a lot of compliments.
