Cleary earned a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and a MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple
University. She also studied at the University of Valencia in Spain. Cleary paints sporting scenes and landscapes in
gouache and oil. She is listed in "An Encyclopedia of Women Artists in America", "Who's Who in American Art"
since 1987 and Samuels "Contemporary American Artists". Magazine articles featuring her work have appeared in
American Artists, Art West, Wildlife Art, Inform Art, and USart. Cleary has received a Communication in Conservation
award from National Trout Unlimited and was their Print Artist of the Year. She has had one-woman shows at the
American Museum of Flyfishing in Vermont as well as many group shows, such as, the C.M. Russell Art Auction and
the Tucson Museum of Art. She won the ANWS and Oregon Trout Stamp competitions. She painted the cover for
the "Cabela's Classic Catalogue" and will be one of ten artists in the upcoming book on contemporary fly fishing
artists. She lives and works in Gore, New Zealand and Helena, Montana.
