SGU Stargate Universe (2009-2011) - Hero Screen Used Stargate Icarus Base Patch.
The uniform patches were attached by Velcro and taken off after each day of shooting for laundering. The Velcro was taken off this one as the crew member put it in a wall display.
All the Stargate patches in this auction today were consigned by a member of the costume department and have never been offered before.
Original patch used on the military science fiction television series 'SGU Stargate Universe' (2009-2011) where, trapped on an Ancient spaceship billions of light-years from home, a group of soldiers and civilians struggle to survive and find their way back to Earth.
The Icarus Base was an off-world Tau'ri base built in 2007, twenty-one light years from Earth on the planet P4X-351, in the Milky Way galaxy, which housed a Stargate. It contained a runway and several F-302 fighter-interceptors. It was also protected by a number of RG/BBT SG military mounted gun emplacements. (SGU: "Air, Part 1", "Human")
